The webmaster has one of these and loves it. I have fought with igniters for years and just hate them for propane BBQs.  I cooked four hamburgers with my Watt Metre plugged in and it used 1000 watts for 1/2 hour. At $0.10 a kwh that makes $0.05 to cook my burgers - pretty cheap if you ask me. I turned the right side on 400 degrees and cooked my Pizza on a pan. I defy you to do that on a propane bbq without burning the bottom of the Pizza.
